He was predeceased by: his parents, Yash Pal Joshi and Shanti Devi Joshi; his wife Kanta Joshi; his daughter Billie Sharda; and his siblings, Ramesh Joshi, Janak Joshi and Nirmala Chanan.
He is survived by: his sons, Balraj Joshi (Akanksha) of Yuba City, CA and Rajash Joshi (Renu) of Yuba City, CA; his son-in-law Dinesh Sharda of San Jose, CA; and his siblings, Raj Joshi of Yuba City, CA, Raksha Sandhir of Yuba City, CA and Kamlesh Sharda of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
