She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Aragon (Nuanes) and Jose Casimiro Aragon; her husband Pete Ortega; her siblings, Robert Aragon (Petrie), Lee Aragon (Delfina), Emilio Aragon and Vera LaCrue (Orlando); and her grandson Rudy.
She is survived by: her sons, Emilio Herrera (Donna) and Arthur Herrera (Carol); her grandchildren, Luz Casillas (Gary), Angie Herrera, Arthur Herrera (Cynthia), Vanessa Herrera (Felix), Beatrice Cordoza (Ruben), Erica Herrera, Carlos Aviles, Maliyah Martinez and Thomas Parra; and her stepchildren, Bobby, Peter, David and Irma Ortega. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
