Elizabeth Joan Bondhus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Joan Bondhus of Akron, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Alishouse and Helen Alishouse; her husband Woodie; her daughter Patty Adolf; her siblings, Harold Alishouse, Edward Alishouse and Minetta Jane Foutz; and her siblings-in-law, Merlin Bondhus, Everett Bondhus, Lyle Foutz, June Bondhus, Christine Bondhus and Avis Alishouse.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Hoyer (Kevin) of Akron; her son-in-law Darrel Adolf of Greeley, Colorado; her grandchildren, Nathan Adolf (Jodi) of Kansas City, Nikki Medeles (Arn) of Evans, Brodie Hoyer (Leeah) of West Point and Thea Hoyer of Fort Collins, Colorado.; and her great grandchildren, Ragan Medeles, Lorna, Viggo, Mac Hoyer and Jett Moeller. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Memorial donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Washington County Nursing Home or Akron Public Library.
