She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Heater and Dorothy Heater; and her husband Clarence Schlechte. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Ann (Ed Stockham) of Akron and Elaine (Cecil Paxton) of Denver; her granddaughters, Shannon (Billy Underwood) of Denver and Lori (Sam Pieper) of Yuma; her stepgrandson Matthew Detch of Indianapolis, IN; her great grandchildren, Cody Underwood, Nicholas Pieper and Michael Pieper; Jonathan Detch. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bowin Funeral Home (175 W 3rd St, Akron, CO 80720).
