It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catalina Martinez of Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Jose Feliberto Martinez (Phil); her children, Freddy, Luis, Margarita Martinez and Rita Munoz; her grandson Filomeno; and her siblings, Amos, Samuel, Eliejio, Waldo, Efren Torres, Guadalupe Ortega, Marina Montoya and Della Martinez.
She is survived by : her daughter-in-law Ursulita Martinez; her daughter Margie Diaz (Segundo); and her grandchildren, Christobol of Alamosa, Manuelita (Roland), Denver, Mark Munoz (Christie), Alicia Munoz, Miguel Angel (Autumn), Mario Andres, Martin Alfredo (Kylie) of Alamosa and Marcos Antonio (Sheena) of Grand Junction. She is also survived by 15 Great Grandchildren.
Contributions can be made to San Juan Catholic Community for the restoration of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, Monte Vista Cemetery, or the Diocesan Foundation for the education of seminarians of the diocese.
