With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernestine Garcia of Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonifacio Trejo and Evangelina Esquibel Trejo; her stepfather Marcus Jiron (Jose David Garcia); her sons, Michael David Garcia and Ernest Garcia; and her siblings, Arnufo Trejo, Efren Trejo, Alfonso Trejo, Elizabeth Trykowski, Esquipula Pedro Trejo, Estella Jiron, Tomas Jiron, Marcus Jiron, Geronimo Jiron and Theresa Medina.
She is survived by: her husband Jose David Garcia; her children, Emily Quintana (Esedor), Cruz Garcia, Bonifacio Garcia (Joann) and Martin Garcia (Gina); and her brother Modesto Jiron. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members and friends.
