Florence Valdez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Valdez in Alamosa, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliazar Valdez and Belinda Valdez; her husband Marin Lucero; and her brother Aggie Valdez. She is survived by: her sons, Adam Lopez (Niki) and Branden Lucero; and her siblings, Beverly Lopez (Michael), Maryanne Valdez, Pauline Rincon (Dennis), Marie Gorgie, Gerald Valdez (Imelda) and Elias Valdez. She is also survived by numerous stepchildren, nieces, nephews, grandchildren.
Florence fought a long, courageous fight with cancer and in lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
