Atencio (Patricia) of La Jara, CO and Michelle Atencio-Miller of Buena Vista, CO.; his close friend Jeanette Bartonie; his grandchildren, Michael, David Atencio, Andrea Puente (Jeremy), Shelli Pattison (Mario Rodas), Ashley Witte (Ian) and Devin Miller; his great grandchildren, Autumn Atencio, Aubrey, Samuel, Austin Puente, Sean, Marissa Pattison and Malachi Guida; his great great grandchild Nathaniel Atencio; his siblings, Ailene Arsaga (Fred), Baldina Martinez and Gary Atencio; and his sister-in-law Theresa Atencio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
