James Eugene Cassidy Obituary
We announce the death of James Eugene Cassidy of Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 82. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedley Eugene Cassidy and Helen Lucille Cassidy (Swearingen); and his brother Joe Richard. He is survived by: his wife Delores Evelyn DeHaven of Westminster, CO; his daughters, Helen Joy Dougherty (Larry) of Lincoln, NE, Brenda Rochelle Cassidy of Alamosa, CO, Jolene Lynn Reimann (Scott) of Fort Collins, CO and Hope Anne Rike (Jerry); his stepparent Broomfield; his sons, Troy Don Cassidy (Jennifer) of Volcano, HI, Brent Gene Cassidy of Aurora, CO and John Zachary Ederer; his stepparents, Sterling, Timothy Peter Ederer and Irvine; and his grandchildren, Blaze River Spiker of Byers, CO, Sage Hunter Cassidy of Alamosa, CO and Coraline Elaine Reimann.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel Haven Seventh-Day Adventist Church (9911 Huron St, Northglenn, CO 80260).
