She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Cortez and Clara Cortez (Valdez); her siblings, Sandy Cortez of Alamosa, Joel Cortez of Alamosa and Anna Marie Cortez of Alamosa; and her grandson Adam Sanchez.
She is survived by : her children, Regina Archuleta of Fort Collins, Reginaldo Archuleta of Fort Garland, Amy Martinez (Rudy Herrera), Angelo (Monica Archuleta), Abraham (Jessica Archuleta), Robbie (Courtney Cortez) and Patsy Cortez of Alamosa; her former life partner Reggie Archuleta; and her close friend Manuel Avila. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
