He was predeceased by: his father Lucas Ortiz; and his niece Chanell Ortiz. He is survived by: his mother Emma Ortiz; his siblings, Dennis Ortiz (Dawn), Luke Ortiz (Bok-Hee) and Sandra Beheiry; his nephews, Gage Gonzales and Lucas Ortiz; his great-nephew Cameron Ortiz; and his great-niece Marci Ortiz.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (715 Fourth St, Alamosa, CO 81101). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at the same location.
