She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Jose Lucero and Tavita Lucero (Garcia); her husband Preston G. Chacon; her son Rickey; and her sisters, Bernice Hall and Erla Eddy.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Chacon of Alamosa, Elissa Frink (Gary) of Alamosa, Steve Chacon of Alamosa, Glenn Chacon (Noreen) of Alamosa and Alvin Chacon (Shawnee) of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nephews and nieces and extended family.
