He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleotilde Martinez (Duran) and Carlos Martinez; his mothers-in-law, Manuelita (Zacarias Atencio) and Andreita (Escolastica); his daughter Gloria; his granddaughter Makaylynn Rose; his great grandchildren, Yazmeen Valdez, Austin Martinez, Angelica Martinez and Alijah Martinez; and his son-in-law Lee Duran.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Martinez; his children, Mitchell Martinez (Rebecca) of Romeo, CO, Marvin Martinez (Jackie) of San Antonio, CO, Peggy Martinez (Isidore) of Alamosa, CO, Marcie Ortiz (Frank) of Antonito, CO, Erma Duran of Lakewood, CO, Loyola Medina (Daniel) of Lakewood, CO and Daniel Martinez (Annette) of Antonito, CO; and his in-laws, Berlinda Madrid (Walter), Mercy Atencio and Nestor Sisneros. He is also survived by his 18 grandkids.
