He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie DeFeo and John DeFeo; his sisters, Helen Schlapman and Rosemary Malone; and his daughter Tammie.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes; his children, Cindy (Paul), John (Becky) and Shelly (Josh); his grandchildren, Aaron, Taylor, Mandy, Josh, Jeremy and Ryane; and his caregiver Elizabeth. He is also survived by his family, particularly his grandchildren.
