He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Martelli and Patricia Martelli; his daughter Stephanie Martelli; his son-in-law Donald Messina; and his friend Billy Ray.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Martelli of Arvada and Michelle Martelli of Arvada; his grandsons, Nick Slate and Michael Martelli; his grandmother Messina; and his sisters, Susan Howes, Patricia Engel, Kathy Gray and Lisa Barnard. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Childrens Hospital Colorado in memory of Stephanie Martelli.
