He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Brookie and Edna C. Brookie; and his brother Dale Brookie. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Brookie; his brother Dean Brookie; his sons, Dennis (Tangee) and Kevin (Diane); his grandchildren, TJ (Emily), Ryan, Justin, Amanda, Sean and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Caleb and Ash.
