He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Hurdelbrink and Dorothy Hurdelbrink; his brother Rick; his sister-in-law Judy Hurdelbrink; and his aunts and uncles, Burl Hurdelbrink (Grace), Cloyd Hurdelbrink (Lozina), Max Hurdelbrink (Nona), Robert Hurdelbrink, William Hurdelbrink, Alvin, Stanley Nelson, Walter Nelson (Florence), Frances Gates (Leo), Grace Parkhurst (Marshall), Marilyn Carter (Carlin), Florence Hurdelbrink (Francis), Svea (Earl Williams) and Emma Hurdelbrink.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Hurdelbrink; his children, Jill Hurdelbrink and Jack Hurdelbrink (Julia); his siblings, Tom Hurdelbrink and Darla DesLauriers (Alan); and his aunts, Cora Hurdelbrink and Mary Lou Hurdelbrink. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
