It is with sadness that the passing of John E. Merz (Arvada, Colorado) is shared. John, born on November 13, 1933 in Denver, Colorado, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Darlene Canfield; his daughters, Debbee, Kim, Dawn, Deanna and Denise; his sons-in-law, Lee and Erich; his grandchildren, Tristina, Jason, Taylorae, Tia and Ben; his grandchildren-in-law, Connor, Kerri, Tim and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Ella, Cole, Bryn, Mia, Will and Marley; his daughters, Colette, Karen and Katrina; and his friend A's. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Ciel Senior Living Parkside Lounge (9555 W 59th Ave, Arvada, CO 80004).
