It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Eileen (Riedel) Richardson in Arvada, Colorado, who passed away on September 6, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Riedel and Bertha Riedel (Flax); and her brothers, Troy and Duane Riedel. She is survived by: her children, Br. Conrad Richardson (Brent), Blake Richardson of Arvada, CO and Brittany Knight (Justin) of Northglenn, CO; her grandchildren, Emily, Isaiah and Ava; her siblings, Judy Manz (Vic) of Arvada, CO, Wanda Hill (David) of Peyton, CO, Bernita Augustine of Wakeeney, KS, Melvin Riedel (Donna), Marvin Riedel (Arlene), Mary Kay Weber (Curtis) of Ellis, KS and Darren Riedel of Talala, OK; and her sister-in-law Laura Riedel (Veronika Riedel) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aspen Mortuaries of Arvada (6370 Union St, Arvada, CO 80004). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (703 Monroe St, Ellis, KS 67637). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
