She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Volke (Bertha Wagner Volke) and Silesia; her husband William J. Dougherty; and her siblings, Hedwig Kastner and Ludwig Volke.

She is survived by: her children, Wilhelm Dougherty (Alisa), Ramona Ross (Erwin), Mary Dougherty and Diane Dougherty; her grandchildren, Derek Dougherty (Carrie), Devin Dougherty (Andrea), Andreas Ross (Abbey), Jasmine Smith (Chad) and Ryan Ross (Cassandra); and her great grandchildren, Kennadi Dougherty, Emily Ross, Mason Ross, Logan Ross and Bryant Ross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
