In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mae Masako had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mae Masako may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sashichi Nochi and Matsu Nochi; her husband Yukio Sakurada; and her siblings, Ed (Ruby Saruwatari) and Ruth (Jack Yoshida).
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Jane Ikeya) and Linda (Paul Ybarra); and her sister Helen (Paul Okura). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were blessed by her kindness.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church (1730 18th St, Mitchell, NE 69357).
