“My heart aches to know that this lively woman has passed. I grew up across the street and have been her daughters friend for over 40 years. Maria pops into my head when I straighten clothes or fold items as I make sure the layers are smooth and even just as we had to ensure we properly folded the draperies she made. I see a black cow and I remember her screaming for my dad to come help as it was staring in her work room window. When I see big pickles or a lamb shaped cake… I think of Maria. Dee”
