We are sad to announce that, on October 23, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Mary Masunaga (Arvada, Colorado), born in Fort Lupton, Colorado. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hirokichi Ota and Tatsu Funakoshi; her husband George Y. Masunaga; her brother Sam Funakoshi; and her sister-in-law Fran Funakoshi (CO). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Simpson United Methodist Church.

“We were so saddened to hear of auntie mary's passing. She was such a kind, funny, compassionate and loving human being. She always welcomed us to her home and at any event she would see us. Bryan played the piano for her the last time we visited and it really made her smile. She appreciated anything done for her. She helped uncle george have a wonderful and full life and she can now be with him and at peace. She will be missed. Very sincerely, phyllis and bryan nakagawa”
