He is survived by: his girlfriend Jan Mussman; his children, Elizabeth Jesmer, Theresa Makelky (Michael) and Michael Jesmer (Kelly Hinz); and his grandchildren, Scott Makelky (Alexis Boyd), Matthew Makelky (Jillian), Fred Makelky, Katrina Makelky (David Davis) and Rachel Makelky. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
