She was predeceased by: her parents, Basilisa Casas (Torres) and Nazario Casas; her spouse Edelmiro Diaz; her son Jim; her brother Edward; and her niece Denise.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Diaz (Mary), Lynn Diaz McLeese (Damon) and Lysette Diaz; and her sisters, Esther Casas-Clavell and Millie Latta. She is also survived by three granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
