He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Lafayette and Martha Rose Wathier (Pitz); his wife Mary; his son Anthony; his grandson Jon; and his brothers, Roger and Orlyn.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Allan (Rhonda) of Thornton, CO, Paula Ann Haigler of Canton, OK, Phillip John (Terri) of Arvada, CO and Nicholas Robert (Jacki) of Westminster, CO; his sisters, Shirley Small of Maquoketa, IA and Velma Kilburg of Bellevue, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Evan of Dubuque, IA, Mary Ellen Kirk of Maquoketa and Chuck Kirk of Bellevue, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
