He is survived by: his wife Barbara Scherr; his children, Amy Scherr Reichardt (Robert), Andrew Harris Childs (Monica) and Lisa Childs Lewis; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Lucy and Bryce; his brother Clayton; and his close friend Dick.
