He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Henry Baum and Mary "Irene" Baum (Frame); and his brother Gail Baum (Donna). He is survived by: his wife Betty Baum; his daughters, Renee' Starr (Mike), Brenda Rodie (Scott) and Ronna (Tim); his brother Gary Baum (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Brandon (Danielle), Colton, Madison, Hayden (Gianna) and Autumn. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
