With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roland Joy Blanscet of Arvada, Colorado, who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Blanscet and Buna Blanscet; his wife E. Jean Blanscet; his son-in-law Jim Cochran; his grandson James C. Cochran; and his close friend Gene Allen.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Vicki; his son Dewayne Blanscet (Vickie); his grandchildren, Alicia Saunders (Casey), Taylor Blanscet (Courtney Cross), Corey and Riley Saunders; his daughter Vicki Cochran; his grandchildren, Tim Cochran (Jena), Casey Cochran (Bobbie), Sarah, Liam, Delaney, Corbin, Will and Ben Cochran; his sister Janella Pugh (Kenneth); his children, Brian Pugh (Rachel) and Amber Ham (Justin); and his cousin Harrison Allred.
His legacy of love and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. in lieu of flowers the family suggests donations / contributions be made to the "Eureka Freewill Baptist Association Youth Dining Hall Fund" in Roland's name;.
