It is with sadness that the passing of Walter Carl Spreng (Arvada, Colorado) is shared. Walter, born on February 16, 1951, passed away on October 16, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Carl Spreng to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Al and Wealthy; his sister Lillian; and his wife Janice. He is survived by: his sister Catherine; his children, Jennifer, Logan, Matthew and Austin; and his grandsons, Jacob, Nikolas, Isaiah and Denver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Northwest (7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Summit Grove Building (3501 Summit Grove Pkwy, Thornton, CO 80241). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Broomfield County Commons Cemetery. Our parents were loyal to one another and after losing Janice to COVID in December 2020, Carl's eyes were only for her. COVID left our father scarred emotionally and physically, and the scarring eventually claimed him.
