Yogi Marie Therese Mancuso Obituary

Yogi Marie Therese Mancuso passed away on the morning of May 18th, 2022. She was survived by fiancé Kevin Rendos, daughters Tierra Krantz and Tahnee (Matthew) Santambrogio, siblings Bernadette (Clyde) Musheno, Frances Bloodworth and John (Judy) Mancuso, preceded in death by sister Michele (Daniel) Mancuso Howell. Yogi was a remarkably creative individual with a passion for life, and a love of the arts. She helped Colorado's law enforcement community expand its early efforts of diversity and inclusion by becoming one of the first female officers to join Lakewood Police Department.

After earning a Master's in Biblical Studies and her work with the Archdiocese of Denver, Yogi dedicated the remainder of her career to outreach and advocacy in the areas of counseling, trauma support services, and recovery. Yogi saw those around her who were often overlooked, and gave a voice to those who may not have been able to speak. She was a friend to the friendless, and always believed that love is a human experience. Though she may no longer be with us, her deep faith in Jesus Christ, and the impact of her work will continue to shine in the lives of her friends, family, and diverse community each and every day.
