He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Valleau (Beard) and T. Frank Valleau; his grandmother Linda Austin of Yarmouth, Maine; and his sister Beth Schultz. He is survived by: his friend Rex; his significant other Patricia Thompson; his daughters, Laura Healey (Tim) of Nottingham, NH and Megan Austin (Jeff) of Brunswick, Maine; his grandchildren, Ben Healey, Sam Healey and Blakely Austin; his siblings, Helen "Peachy" Thielke of New York and David Valleau of Florida; and his sister-in-law Judy Oltmanns of Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Portland Housing Authority's Thomas Valleau Scholarship Program.
