He is survived by: his wife Laurie Griffith (Wendland); his children, Kristin Hugen (Aaron), John Griffith (Caytlyn), Samuel Griffith (Hannah) and David Griffith (Allison); his grandchildren, Griffith Hugen, Pearl Hugen, Briella Griffith and Piper Griffith; and his sisters, Kathryn Schine, Judith Franz (Wayne) and LoisJean Lamphere (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
