As Bob departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bob may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bob leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus R Douthitt and Mary Lee Crawford; and his brother Tom Douthitt (Jackie) of Leavenworth. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Sapp Douthitt of Brunswick, GA; his children, Rob Douthitt (Wendy Guild) and Lori Hough (Don) of Merino, CO; and his sister Jan Hubbard (Gary) of Leavenworth, KS. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
