He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mitchell and Grace Helen Vanderhyde (Lauten); and his sister Grace. He is survived by: his wife Janice; and his children, Rebecca Haiderer (Don) of Aurora, CO, David (Ginny) of Denver, CO, Jonathan (Michele) of Eau Claire, WI, Michael (Patti) of Aurora, CO and Nancy Mendoza (David) of Vista, CA. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and thirty-nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the University Hills Lutheran Church (4949 E Eastman Ave, Denver, CO 80222). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
