Christopher Marmaro Obituary
Christopher Anthony Marmaro:
On September 13, 2019, Christopher Anthony Marmaro, went gently in his sleep to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Chris was 27 years old.
Chris was born in Denver, on November 5, 1995, and lived his entire life here in Colorado. Chris was always cheerful and had one of the brightest smiles around. He was faced with far greater trials than most and rose to some amazing triumphs. Chris has been engaged in a life-long battle with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy; a severely disabling disease. This is shared by Chris’ brother, Angelo. Yet, despite his handicap and discomfort, Chris was almost always upbeat and positive. He had a deep and abiding love for his family and a dedication to Jesus. Chris had the ultimate ‘can-do’ attitude and lived his life to the fullest. Chris and his brother went with their family on two Make-a-Wish trips; Chris choosing a Whale-watching trip to Hawaii. Chris went out of his way to be kind to his relatives and was especially close to his beloved, niece, Amaya and were practically inseparable for the past few years!
Chris is survived by: His Dr. Jeffrey Marmaro and Lauren Ann Marmaro; and his birth mom, Jolynn Healy; his many siblings; Autumn Dryden, Rebekah Johnson and her husband Chad Johnson, Reuben Marmaro, his wife, Kelly and their two children, Micah Marmaro and Ryanne Marmaro, and their three children; Samantha Toddy and her two children, Bethany Marmaro, her husband, Ray, and their two children, Angelo and Gabriel Marmaro; his only surviving grandparents, Rudolph A. and Betty J. Marmaro. Chris also had a large assortment of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chris had a knack for making friends, was an active Royal Ranger as long as he physically could be and was loved by many more than his sizeable family.
A real treat for Chris, was the yearly, Summer MDA camp; a week-long activity where Chris had a wonderful time, met many friends.
The funeral for Chris will be at 11am, Saturday, September 21, 2019; at the Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton, CO. A Reception will follow at 2pm, at the Garden Court Apartments Clubhouse on 5151 E. Yale Circuit, Denver, CO 80222.
Please come and celebrate with us, the remarkable life of an amazing man; a loving son, brother, and uncle to many. Chris lived a life of love and joy; and was devoted to his family, friends and most importantly to Jesus Christ; all the days of his life. Chris was beloved by many and is now free from all handicap and is dancing and leaping, and most importantly for Chris, running like the wind in God’s Heaven.
