He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Sanders and Marvis Sanders (McGuire); and his brothers, Joseph and Henry Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, George Jr. "Skip" (Elizabeth) and Scott Sanders (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Lauren Sanders, Samantha Hollander, Colton and Carter Sanders.
