It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inez F. Cox-Harkema (Aurora, Colorado), leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernor Green and Anna Holmes Green; her husband Edward Harkema; her daughter Tina Bedow; and her sisters, Nancy Margret, Betty and Laura.
She is survived by: her sons, James (Christine Cox) and Randall (Shelley Cox); her sisters, Alice Turner and Sharon Cron; and her grandchildren, Angela Gonzalez, Erika Garcia, Cynthia Cox, Matthew Cox, Cortney, Christian Avant, Lindsay and Christopher McHugh. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A prayer was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 6:10 AM to 12:00 PM. Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Romero Funeral Home-Aurora (15150 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO 80014). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
