With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Patterson in Aurora, Colorado, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Clare Patterson; her parents, Clare Wood and Mark Decker Wood; and her sisters, Halene Koch and Diane Evans.

She is survived by: her pets, Merle and Cid; her daughter Debra Collins (Kevin); her siblings, Paul Wood (Linda), David Wood (Maureen) and Janelle Conan (Roger); and her brother-in-law Guy Evans.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Humane Colorado (formerly The Denver Dumb Friends League) or Colorado Horse Rescue.
