Maria Baker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Baker of Aurora, Colorado, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Raymond Herbert Baker; her parents, Viktoria Kern and Paul Kowollik; her spouse Germany; her brother Wilhelm Kowollik (Anneliese) of Manneheim; her sons, Matt Baker (Roxann) of Laporte, CO and Steven Baker of Billings, MT.; her brother Paul Kowollik (Germany); her daughter Rosaline Pierce (Texas); and her grandchildren, Jennifer (Luxembourg), Alexandra of Fort Collins, CO, Morgan and Madison of Laporte, CO. She was also cherished by 2 great grandchildren.

Maria loved to sing and was a member of her church choir for decades before COVID occurred.
