He was predeceased by : his parents, Armand Menard- of California and Gertrude Lamoreaux (Menard-); and his siblings, Wayne Menard- of California, Duane Menard- of California, Andy Paul Menard- of California, Francis Menard- of California, Francine Nation- of Colorado and Sally Thompson- of California.

He is survived by : his sisters, Helene Jones- of California and Carol Stepps- (Armand Menard-) of California; his significant other Norma Jean Gunderson of Sioux City, Iowa.; and his children, Pam Menard, Keas (Ron), Melvin Menard Jr. (Ruth), Lila Menard, Phillips (Dennis), Michel Menard (Carol), Teresa Menard, Myhre (Gery), Paul Menard (Kathy), Vincent Menard (Cathy), Joe Menard (Tammy), Marie Menard and McIntosh (Rob).

A rosary was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church (19099 E Floyd Ave, Aurora, CO 80013). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236). A reception was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at 2680 W Hampden Ave, Sheridan, CO 80110.
