He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Richard Brown and Ruth Brown; his sisters, Betty Mills, Darlene Harold and Pauline Covington; his former wife Maxine Nardie; and his son Eugene Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Brown (Elva) of Broomfield, CO, Bruce Brown (Elizabeth) of Rhodes, IA and Pamela Coley (Michael) of Topeka, KS; and his nephew Rogelio Garcia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
