She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Obie Galey Jr. and Dorene Pauline Galey; and her brother Mike Galey. She is survived by: her husband Darrel Dean Burch; her children, April and Jonah Burch; her sister Paula Jenkins; and her siblings-in-law, David Jenkins and Jane Galey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
