It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phylicia R Gillespie of Aurora, Colorado, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her mother Yolanda Cordova; her siblings, Andrew Manzanares, LaTashia Whiting (Brian), Christina Romero (Mark), Ashley Guss and Vanessa Gillespie; her nieces, Savannah, Payton and Nala; her godson Bryson; and her aunts and uncles, Laura Vargas, Jeanette Coleman (Wiley), Velma Guss (Mark), Patricia Gillespie, Tony Gillespie and Raymond Gillespie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Denver Mortuary Chapel (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
Phylicia graduated in 2015 from Prairie View High School, she did a lot of charity events with their car club her favorite was the trunk or treat because she loved Halloween.
