We are sad to announce that, on May 17, 2025, at the age of 88, Raquel Sánchez Bishop (Aurora, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Paul Alcalá, Gordon Bishop Jr. (Debbie), Mike Brimmerman, Randall Bishop and David Easton; and her mother Teresa.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her stepchildren, Denise Alcalá (Robert Davidson), Michaelena Moore (Robert), Teresa Swanson, Richard Alcalá, Laura LaRosa (James), Mitchell Alcalá (Kathryn), Debbie Brimmerman, Bernie Bishop, Richard Bishop (Sheri), Mark Bishop, Rob Bishop (Wendy) and Maria Johnson (Ken); her siblings, Arturo Sanchez, Celia, Virginia and Aurora; and the father of her children Paul Alcalá.
