We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Russell L. Mayer of Aurora, Colorado, born in Denver, Colorado. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife G. Jean Christiansen; and his parents, Russell P. Mayer and Erma Mathews Mayer. He is survived by: his children, Russ Mayer (Justine) of Greeley and CJ Griffin (Richard) of Aurora, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Gayla Mayer Lattimer (Steve) of Greeley, Gavin Mayer of Ithaca and Heather Griffin of Aurora; his great grandchildren, Connor Lattimer of Greeley and Macy Lattimer of Greeley; and his sister-in-law Beverly Mayer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He died peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Aurora, Colorado due to complications from COVID.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clayton Early Learning, in care of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary.
