With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Rose Olivas of Avondale, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rael and Agatha Rael; her husband Tony Olivas; her brothers, Gene and Ernie; her son James; her in-laws, Robert and Erni; and her grandson Roman.
She is survived by: her children, Del Olivas (Joyce), John Olivas (Toni), Aggie Nava, Sharon Vialpando (Randy) and Debbie Alfaro (George); and her grandchildren, Brian Olivas (Chris), Christie Velasco (Talby), Anthony Olivas (Lorrie), Damian Olivas (Laura), Desiree Rodriguez, Preston Nava, Antoinette Newcomer (Chris), Tammi Gabaldon (Jonathan), Jessica Alfaro (Berta), Steven Alfaro (Amanda) and Joshua Olivas (Lakshmi). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, god children, nephews, nieces, and loving friends.
