She was predeceased by: her parents, George Challis and Lena Challis; her siblings, George Challis, Maxine and Cora; her husband Kenneth Lional Moraites; her son Kenneth Louis Moraites; her grandson Anthony; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Urijah and Isaiah.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Challis; her grandchildren, Sonya Negri and Dawson Moraites; her great grandchildren, Haidyn Moraites and Harlee Negri; and her great great grandchild Tekova Moraites.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Strasburg Community Church (56155 Sunset Ave, Strasburg, CO 80136).
