He was predeceased by: his son Gary L. Wise Jr.; and his granddaughter Aubrey Wise. He is survived by: his wife Avis; his daughter Michelle Leapley; his grandchildren, Alec Wise, Sarah Davis, Jonathan Wise and Jessica Dunkelberger; and his siblings, Diana Carrol, Robert Joiner and Judy Joiner.
