The family announces the passing of Edward Joseph Schultz of Black Forest, Colorado on September 23, 2026. Edward, born on June 20, 1942, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Schultz and Mary Leah Schultz; and his brother Arnold Clemans. He is survived by: his siblings, Bill and Barbara; his half-sister Patricia; his sons, James Edward (Bobbi) and Michael Joseph (Michelle); his wife Lois; and his daughter Susan Salvatori (Brian). He is also survived by 8 grandkids and 9 great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Swan-Law Funeral Directors (501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church (11020 Teachout Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Alzheimer's Association and or The Nation Vietnam War Museum.
